The Retinol Binding Protein Assay Kit is an essential tool for diagnosing kidney and liver diseases

Retinol Binding Protein (RBP) Assay Kit is a specialized diagnostic tool used primarily for the auxiliary diagnosis of various nephropathies, such as renal tubular loss. Elevated concentrations of RBP are indicative of conditions like decreased glomerular filtration rate, renal tubular dysfunction, and fatty liver caused by overnutrition. Conversely, decreased concentrations can be observed in hepatic diseases like vitamin A deficiency, hyperthyroidism, and acute viral hepatitis. This kit plays a critical role in assessing renal and hepatic function by detecting abnormalities in RBP levels.

The kit includes two main reagents with the following specifications:
**Reagent 1**: Available in packaging of 60 x 1, 80 x 1, or 40 x 1.
**Reagent 2**: Available in packaging of 15 x 1, 20 x 1, or 10 x 1.

This flexibility in reagent packaging allows for optimized usage depending on different testing needs. The kit is compatible with a wide range of automatic analyzers, including those from leading brands such as Beckman CX series, LX20 series, DXC600/800 series, AU series, and TBA models like 120FR, 2000FR, and 40FR.

Given its versatility and high precision, the Retinol Binding Protein Assay Kit is an essential tool for laboratories focused on nephrology and hepatology diagnostics. Its accurate and reliable results provide valuable insights into patient conditions, enabling clinicians to make well-informed decisions regarding treatment and management strategies.
